Winterguard takes 3rd at MCCGA Championships in Springfield, MO!
	Congratulations to our 7 guard girls for a fantastic weekend of fun and excitement! In the Scholastic C class there were 16 guards participating. Our girls went on the floor looking beautiful and confident! Our group was one of the smallest groups and look what happened!!! 3rd Place with a 1st place spot in movement!!! The trophy is standing proudly in the Band room for all to see! Each girl also got a medal to take home which was worn Monday to school! Way to go girls!!!! We are very proud of you! Thank you goes to Beth Delarosa and The Metheny's for driving down and chaperoning this past weekend. Here is the pictures (in winter guard album) took from the contest.

	As our Band and Guard students approach the second half of the school year, it is a fitting time to place a spotlight on our Seniors. Many of these students have participated in the West Band program for numerous years and have each become important leaders in the program.
