Football Game vs. Fayetteville HS

3:00 – 4:15      Rehearsal at Practice Field – Percussionists will take the pit equipment, music stands, binders, and instrument stands to the stadium and return to the band room for dinner.  Winds may use this time to clean/polish instruments and shoes.

4:30                 Tailgate Dinner – THANK YOU for picking up after yourselves!!

You may get uniforms on after you are finished eating and cleaning up.

You are expected to stay in the Music Area, not exploring the school.

5:45                Uniform Inspection – in the band room, standing in front of the chair you sit in during class.  Percussionists will stand across the back of the room.

6:00                 Warm Up in Band Room – play through Star Spangled Banner

6:15                 Line up (by “twos”) outside Band Room

6:30                 Troop to Stadium

6:42                 Spirit Dance – Poms/Cheerleaders

6:45                 Enter Stadium

When we get in front of the Scoreboard, start Fight Song/Mag 7

Continue marching around track – stop when centered on 50 yard line

6:50                 Band Plays National Anthem

6:52                 Teams return to field

Play Stand Up & Cheer/Mag 7

Move to our section of the stands

7:00                 Kick-Off

With 8:00 left in 2^nd Quarter, winds move to warm-up area in front of “W”

Percussion sets up pit, guard warms-up on their own

Line up for Half-time

Postgame:

March back to Band Hall

Reminder about uniform maintenance:

Baldrics, gauntlets, and hat boxes to uniform room

Uniforms hung up neatly on hangers & put inside your garment bags and taken home.

Uniforms should be taken OUT of garment bags when you get home to air out!!

All personal items must be taken home, not left in band room!
