I was a junior playing flugel horn when the band won The Fiesta Bowl Competition in Arizona, and was head drum major when we Exhibited at the Music Educators National Conference with Marion Catholic. They played well, but we kicked their butt in marching! I teach school part time so that I can be passionate about my music. I write drill for area high schools here in MN as well as The Pride of Minnesota Univ. of MN Marching Band. I am corps director of Minnesota Brass and also Board Chair for DCM. I love spending time with my family (2boys and my wife Karen). . |

I was in marching band 3 years, skipping my junior year season only because I moved to Georgia - got back just in time to have completely missed all of band camp. I was one of the flute section leaders my senior year and really enjoyed each season - there was never a dull moment! I am attending SMSU (majoring in English Education, Journalism, German), but don't have time to be a part of the Pride Band. I miss everyone and fully intend to visit often - good luck this season! . |
