Senior Profiles - 2005-2006

Steve Allhoff plays the trombone and has been in band for the past four years. He is the President of Tri-M, an officer in Beta Chi Pi and a member of National Honor Society. In his free time he enjoys theatre and music. He would like to attend Syracuse University and is considering going into law or biology.

Brent Barrett plays clarinet and snare drum and has been in band for four years. He is not sure where he would like to go to college, but would like to attend an art school.

Jessie Benson plays trumpet and has been in band for the past four years. She is a member of the Parkway West softball and racquetball teams and was the state champion in racquetball. She plans to attend Missouri State University in the fall.

Seth Brownridge II plays the snare drum and has been in band for the past four years. He plans to attend a four-year university in the fall and is interested in engineering and biotechnology.

Nick Carter plays trumpet and has been in band for the past four years. He received the John Baker Memorial Scholarship Award and is an Eagle Scout. He plans to attend Brigham Young University next fall.

Lauren Dalton is a member of the Guard and has been for four years. She plans to attend Missouri State University in the fall.

Justin DeVillar plays trombone and has been with the Parkway West Band for the past three years. He is involved in Beta Chi Pi, Robotics, Student Government, Swimming, Diving and Track and Field. He plans to have a career in Systems Engineering or Computer Science.

Jeff Lenhart plays the quads and tenors and has been in band for the past four years. He participated in Winter Drum Line as well. He is interested in attending Missouri State University in the fall.

Tommy Mueller plays trumpet and has been in band for the past four years. He has been section leader for the past three years. The highlight of his high school career was competing in Drum Corps International. He hopes to attend a competitive college in the Midwest next fall.

Michael Musgrove plays clarinet in the marching band and oboe in concert band and has for the past four years. He is a member of Beta Chi Pi, Mu Alpha Theta, National Honor Society and the Parkway West Racquetball team. He plans to attend University of Illinois in the fall and major in Civil Engineering.

Katie Nicholson plays in the pit in marching band and plays oboe in concert band and has for the past four years. She has been section leader for the past two years. She performed with Gateway Percussion, a world-class winter drum line, for two years. She is also a member of Tri-M. She hopes to attend DePaul University in the fall and plans to major in creative writing, hoping to one day become a playwright.

Emily Winkle plays the flute and piccolo and has been in band for the past four years. She is a member of Drama Club, International Thespian Society and Nuevos Amigos. She also student teaches at Highcroft Ridge Elementary School. She plans to attend Truman State University in the fall and major in Elementary Education.
