DATES and TIMES:                  SATURDAY, OCTOBER 4, 2008             10:00 AM TO 4:00 PM

                                                SUNDAY, OCTOBER 5, 2008                 10:00 AM TO 4:00 PM

 

FEE:

·         Rental fee for exhibition space for 2 days is as follows:  $70.00 for a 6' deep by 9' wide space or $140.00 for a double space 6' by 18'. The rental fee must accompany your application. 

·         Make check payable to "PARKWAY WEST BAND BOOSTERS.”  

·         Cancellations made after September 1, 2008 will not receive a refund!

ENTRY:

·         Open to individuals or non-profit organizations only; applicants must be at least 18 years old.

·         Craft work will be juried for quality.

·         Each applicant must submit at least 2 clear, detailed photos representative of all work to be exhibited.  Photos will be kept on file and not returned. (Quality color Xeroxes are acceptable.)  If you have submitted photos in the past, please send updated photos for our files. 

·         No kits, molds, commercially made items, imported items, or items sold on a home party plan permitted.

·         The Band Boosters organization will sponsor food concessions as a fund-raiser, therefore, no food exhibitors will be accepted if their items compete with the concession stand.

·         Judging will occur during June and July until all booths are filled.  Applicants who are accepted will receive a letter of confirmation or e-mail after their acceptance.  Checks will be returned to those applicants not accepted.

·         If you would like a paper confirmation, please enclose a STAMPED, SELF-ADDRESSED, BUSINESS SIZED ENVELOPE FOR THE RESULTS OF THE JURY PROCESS.

·         Your booth at the craft fair MUST REFLECT WHAT IS REPRESENTED IN YOUR PHOTOS. You may not sell your space to anyone, nor share with a non-juried person. YOU WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE WITHOUT A REFUND IF YOUR SPACE HAS BEEN MISREPRESENTED OR WE FIND THAT NON-JURIED CRAFTS ARE PART OF YOUR BOOTH.

·         All Parkway Schools are smoke-free and alcohol-free zones.  School district policies will be enforced.

GENERAL INFORMATION:       

·         Each craft person is responsible for all of his/her own display materials. Label All Equipment.

·         We have a limited number of tables (30" by 72") available for use at $15.00 per table.

·         A limited number of exhibition spaces have access to electricity.  These spaces are available for an additional fee of $7.00.  Crafters must provide their own heavy-duty, grounded extension cord.

·         A donation of an item for our silent auction is appreciated.  It will be fully tax deductible.

·         Application deadline is June 30, 2008.  Booth Assignments will be assigned by date application received. 

SALES:   All proceeds from sales go directly to the craft persons.  Craft persons will be responsible for their own sales, money handling, and tax consequences.

SET UP:           Details for the set up will be mailed in early September 2008.
